Communications and Development Support

The Office of Communications and Development Support supports the public information role of the Law Center by communicating Law Center news and calendar information through a variety of media. Extensive Law Center photo file and faculty/staff photos and bios are maintained in this office for departmental use and for distribution to the media and to legal and professional organizations.

Activities of the office include:

  • Producing publications about Law Center activities and services, including the award-winning Reflections magazine, two times a year, and SULC E-News , a weekly electronic newsletter

  • Developing media releases to distribute news and calendar information

  • Providing editorial, photography, audio, and video services for Law Center programs and activities

  • Coordinating Law Center experts' interviews with media

  • Coordinating website communication

  • Supporting the Law Center's development efforts through assistance with obtaining sponsorships, donations, and grants
